We are Bill and Mill Kwon, missionaries serving with the Church of the Nazarene in Southeast Asia. Our theme, inspired by Joshua 6:20, is “Go beyond the Walls.”

Our journey began in 1998 when God transformed our lives through repentance and salvation. Since then, we have followed His call into full-time ministry. After more than ten years of fruitful service at Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS) and on the Philippine field, God led us into wider mission across Southeast Asia.

Today, Bill serves as Field Strategy Coordinator for the Southeast Asia Field, which is now home to more than 330 churches, 16,500 members, and 10 districts. By 2030, our shared vision is to see 700 churches, 30,000 members, and five new districts established. Bill has previously served as District Superintendent in Myanmar and as the 6th Chancellor of Chapman International College (formerly SEANBC), helping expand theological education into multiple countries.

Mill is passionate about language and education. She has taught English from kindergarten to seminary level, trained teachers, and translated key discipleship and ministry resources into Korean. She speaks Korean, English, Thai, and some Mandarin, and continues to serve through teaching and translation.

We are blessed with four wonderful children: Yihyun (Andrea), Minki, Minjae, and Geumju. They have grown up on the mission field, learning with us what it means to follow Jesus together as a family.

Every step of our story has been marked by God’s grace. We look forward to continuing this journey of obedience as He opens new doors for ministry in Southeast Asia.
